I think some things we try learning sound harder than they eventually end up being. First check out Ben's new lesson, "Ben's Land Of Legato 2", and then post a reply to today's lesson.

Is there any technique, lesson, or specific style that you surprised even yourself how quickly you picked it up? Was there a trick to it?

Great question ! I would probably say sweep picked arpeggios..... doesn't mean I'm any good at it !!! tongue.gif But the learning part of it happened quite quickly smile.gif

I would say tapping. I just started from zero, then grabbed my metronome. It went alot better than I suspected. Even if it's a little harder on a Tele than on let's say an Ibanez (I tested it). I think the key-item to fast learning is the metronome!

yeah tapping is the quickest one to pick up. Secret is muting the other strings
