Hello everyone,

Has anyone ever put chorus and delay after an emulated output of an amp? I am getting a new analogue drive pedal very soon and was wondering what it will sound like if I plug it into my Blackstar valve head and then send the emulated output to my Boss GT-001 for chorus and delay effects.

What do you think?

Cheers

Phil

I almost regularly use delay and reverb after the cab. emulation, as for other modulation fx I can't think of a reason it should cause any problem.

Thanks Mertay,

I was hoping to get some of that valve tone. Thanks for your help again. I know I could have just tried it but at least now I know it won't be a waste of time. smile.gif

Delay and chorus usually sound better after the amp so this could sound very good. However, the only way to know it is trying it and taking your own conclusions. It's always positive to experiment. So try it and let us know what you get!
