Okay, as I i mentioned somewhere before, I've been practicing this for a while, and today i found the time needed record it. It took about 60 takes, and this is the 57th of them. The reason it's uploaded in the forum and not youtube is because It's still a bit sloppy, and I'm going to record a better version. Maybe
Anyways, Id like to hear comments about this, and, about my technicue generally, And how much do I have to improve to make it pass in the rec program. No need to tell me where i screwed up or how bad i did it, i know that very well So here it is: MojoOroFinalBeta.wmv ( 3.8MB ) Number of downloads: 276 |

It really sounds like the tempo is too fast for you man. Slow it down a bit and perfect it there first. Good effort though

Great take, couple of notes weak here and there, but it seems you got it all done, just need time to settle a bit until it is perfect. Well done

Good job, you´re definitely getting it. Just slow down a bit (120 bpm is enough, in my opinion) and clean up the dirty parts. Well done!

I think that most of the sloppiness if caused by the (now much smaller) recording fear of mine. Just more takes and it'll come

Well done, you'll almost there. But I must say that i understand why You are shaking your hand at the end, if it was the 57'th take..... My hand would have shaken after the first 8 bars...

Oh yeah, indeed, but it looks still stupid... Nah, if that argentian guy shook his hand after playing "Flight of the bumble-bee" in 340 BPM (Guiness World Record), I think its allowed for You to shake Yours as well...., -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. Hmmm, yeah, i guess so , But what do you think, could this pass the rec test? Or is there too many mistakes and bad stuff? Hmmm, that was a tough question. I really dont know. Since its such a hard piece Muris has to be a little kind... But personally, I had rehearsed for one more week or so. If You are not 100% satisfied yourself, You should'nt post it. //Staffay -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans.
