wow... sorry to hear that. Everything is fixable, at a price. So it depends what you're willing to spend. On an Epi it might not be worth it, you have to ask a tech to have a look at it.
The neck maybe can be mended. If it should be replaced there's another problem. It's glued in! They will have to destroy the glue binding, one method I've heard of is to spray a thin jet of rather high preassure water on the glue until it gives. That can take hours. You should definitly check it up what it would cost to fix it! -------------------- My bands homepage

May be you can glue it back together and sand/repaint the neck. But it would probably sound crappy afterwards. Fixing it properly would be an awful lot of work. Maybe even more work than rebuilding the guitar from scratch. So it might cost more than your 900€. Good luck!

Sorry to hear it man! Like MickeM said, the cost may be really big, the best thing is to ask around with your local luthiers, and see for the price.

Very unfortunate, hopefully the costs will be relatively low.

Hopefully the 'Crack' that you heard may have been the Neck Joint becoming unglued rather than the neck splitting!!! Hm, a luthier once told me that the glue that is typically used is stronger than the wood. But if it really was just the glue that broke he could just sand it down and reglue it.I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!! - Jonas -------------------- My Website | My Gear | Elixir Nanoweb Strings Review | Installing Schaller Security Locks
