If you're looking to buy me a couple of christmas presents, these are the ones you should get me!

What guitar would you like that is NOT considered something "classic"? I.e. NOT an SRV strat, Kirk Hammett ESP, Jimmy Page Les Paul etc.
Something "unusual", even if it's a famous brand. Show me! cool.gif

Id love any of those to be honest smile.gif Really any Jcustom at all, or really any MIJ Ibby with a Floyd on it. Id love one of those JPM models where you can see the wood grain and it's got his graphics on it as well. You've picked some great ones smile.gif Not sure why nobody has responded yet? I'm sure everyone has dream guitars smile.gif

Yeah, "what's a missing hand or two?" was my thought, but on second thought maybe that's not the best idea either laugh.gif

I have also never played a PRS.
I want to see how a 25'scale neck feels like compared with the standard 25.5' Fender and 24.75' of Gibson.

I have three PRS SE (budget) models, a Custom 24, a Custom 24 7 and and Ace Signature. The Ace has an issue with B notes fading out really quickly, when people hit a B, it fades so quickly they look down thinking their sleeve is resting on the strings.

Anyway, here is the one I would go for if I was feeling wreckless. Look at that top, it looks like a photo of the ocean cool.gif

I don't recall if I ever played a Gretsch. I was just looking at the price range on Thomann, and there was a strange gap in prices. They went from 800-1000 USD models to suddenly 2300-2500 USD ones. Not really much in between.

It seems all prices are going nuts lately. It's not just ibbys as I thought. It's everything.

I really want a new XIPHOS. It's not a Jcustom to be sure, but I really liked all 3 xiphos that I've owned in the past. The shape is very pointy and and the neck through was great for sustain. Of course, i wish it was MIJ but one can't have everything in life smile.gif It's a 7 string as well which is cool. i've never had a 7 string xiphos. I always wanted to try the 7 string custom shop xiphos that i saw Terri from Tyr playing.

Here is our old pal Bernth
