I dont try this model but in minimodels i tried the MS-4 (only 4 watts) and sounds ok to practice... but when i used it with the Zoom G7 and some pedals i had.... wow!!! i cant believe the sound that this litlle thing did!!! So my suggestion is TRY IT! and if you`re gonna to use some pedals, try it with your pedals Cheers man yeah ive looked at the Ms-4 a bit and people say for how much it is you can get quite alot and ive got a Boss me 50 to plug into it also. Ah! I thought maybe you were referring to this when I read the title. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product...tack?sku=482705 Anyone used one of these? Comments? Yeah i did have a look at those but until i get about +$200 i was going to stick to the smaller ones but in time i probable will, they look awesome and im guessing the sound will be alot better too. I have this little Marshall with a double speaker. I can tell you it rocks Only make sure your battery is in good condition. It uses one 9V battery or an adaptor. Once I miked it and put on a proper PA system. Wow man, that was the sound This video of me playing Vinnie Moore song was played on that Marshall. Just its pure gain, no pedals. You don't see it on this video but you can hear and get the idea. Video is also not good quality because it was a web camera.

The sound isn't very good in my ears.. I actually buildt an amp myself with a speaker that is about the same size (a satelite speaker from a creative PC speaker set) and it sounded a little better actually Anyways, I would rather go for the Micro Cube from Roland (actually I ordered one two days ago ) it's slightly bigger and a little more expensive, but it sounds waaay better and it's totaly worth it IMO. Just my two cents Thanks for that man ive heard some good sounding ones though, Ive also heard some of Rolands stuff and it seems pretty good With johnny De marco but doesnt the micro cube cost like $300-400? but thanks for that man I'll never play another Marshall after getting my Framus amp. It blows every single one out of the water. My Framus amp was so great I sold my 1982 Marshall JCM 800. I'd get a tiny Orange amp but I'm not sure how small they go. Framus huh? Please Ignore my ignorance as ive never actually heard of them before If you do have time or you know where youve seen videos and sound checks from this amp id love to hear it. and Orange amps ive heard and seen them but ive never heard one before so ill check them too, i know you can get a Orange Tiny terror or something But thanks man |

Well, although that Microstack has only 15W, don't forget it has 2x10" speakers, and I think that baby can really rock! The sound won't be that great, but it's a perfect gift for a starting guitar player
