Hey that's looking pretty sharp, Ken. One thing I can see that I would have done differently is to put 2 fasteners in the middle of the span like you did on each end, Instead of just 1 in the middle to help prevent the boards from cupping. It may be alright though as long as you get it sealed right away.

I'm going to seal it next week - before any rain comes.
I wanted to go with Cedar but the price is currently astronomical so I went with pressure-treated Pine.
It's basically the same design that was there before. 2 on the ends and 1 in the middle. I only had to replace one of the slats in the last 11 years. You can't really tell from the pics but it's partially covered and it also doesn't get a lot of sun.

*EDIT ... of course it decided to rain this morning ohmy.gif
