Well I haven't been around much as of late and I apologize for that... especially to the mod team. But I have a good reason...

About a week ago I received a phone call from the local SPCA asking for my help. It seems that a local couple was arrested on numerous offenses and had been rearing their new puppy to be a guard dog for their drugs. The puppy, only 4 months old, was already showing signs of aggression and the SPCA was pretty sure he was being abused. They needed someone to foster the puppy until they could get word on if they could remove the dog permanently. Now both of my dogs were rescued from abusive homes so I'm not afraid of a challenge and decided to foster the little guy. I of course fell in love with the little bugger the second I saw him and I'm waiting anxiously to see if I get to keep him... I should know this week so my fingers are crossed. He's the sweetest little guy, a few issues, but nothing that can't be corrected. I have been spending a lot of time trying brake him of some bad habits and also just showing him the love he needs, thus my recent absence. He plays very well with my two and is already showing signs of contentment and joy. He's really fitting in well and loves the positive attention he's getting. So here are some pics of my new little man... hopefully I can call him mine soon. His name is Tyson and he's a Bullmastiff mix. Right now he's about 30 lbs smile.gif If I get to keep him though I may change his name to Rosco but that's still to be decided smile.gif

Thanks guys smile.gif I've had him a week now and I'm pretty attached to him, even though I've been trying not to. Just can't help it, he's so darn cute and well my heart just breaks when I think what he's been through in his short life. I'll be really upset if he goes back to those people...

Thanks Trond for that. He's only 4 months old but he's very aggressive in certain situations and stubborn doesn't even begin to describe him. But I'm pretty patient when it comes to animals and well I think he's worth saving. Plus my two seem to really like him.

Yeah. They are just liek kids. They are so cute before they become. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmHx2blktwU

Just kidding tongue.gif
Sooo cute.
Hope it turns out well for the dog. And you ofc.

Oh, by the way.
My son in law (sort of) is visiting Canada now.
I forgot to tell him to send my regards. If you see a guy you haven't seen before, give him a hug and I can get it from him when he gets back.
He is a tatooer. Invited as "guest artist" and will work for a couple of weeks.
Thin guy, tattoed from top to toe, literally, and a beard. Nice guy. tongue.gif

Very cute and best of luck Rok. He looks a bit like my neighbour's new puppy - he's now just 3 months old and already huge! She has him to help herd her goats cool.gif .

Cheers,
Tony
