Okay, just kinda somethin' I thought about today.
There's a lot of talk about the high end Ibanez Prestige's and especially, the JEM. But where is Satch's love?
Has anyone ever tried an Ibanez JS100, JS1000, JS12000, or even better, OWN one? Why aren't these guitar's getting any love?

Just curious

i have played the js-100 (the 500 dollarish one) on my search and put next to some cheaper guitars ( rg350mdx) the JS was nothing. When i played it, it did not feel right... cant be explained you have TO TRY IT!

From what I understand the JS series are liked by jazz/rockers (think Cold Play but with guitars instead of piano) The volume pots are customized to allow the Highs to remain high even at low volumes. This gives the guitars insane versatility within that clean crisp sound range. Most people like distortion in the world and the JS series super-crispness tends to cause them to be less liked. Hope that helped.

I played the newest Satch's guitar. To make story short - guitars with 22 frets don't get my attention at all.

I have seen and played a little on the Satch guitars when I first started playing guitar. However, my skills weren't really developped enough at that point to actually know if the guitar felt right for me or not.

What I do know now is that I don't really like the look of them, and as said before, they do have a particular sound which does not appeal to all people.
