He reminds of a young Bonamassa who has said great things about Toby. He's been around a while, it's been interesting watching him grow as a player. His blues in the first video is mature beyond his years. He is an inspiration. cool.gif http://toby-lee.com/

Success is not obtained overnight. It comes in instalments; you get a little bit today, a little bit tomorrow until the whole package is given out. The day you procrastinate, you lose that day's success.

In the first vid, notice his control of bending to pitch and vibrato. These two elements not only define good blues players, but they define good players in general. Without a command of these two simple techniques, it's just not possible to sound good through a solo that includes bends/vibrato and any good solo should have both. He's way ahead of the curve but his technique is a great example of how to do things right. Great share!

check the kid out about 6:16. Complete with guitar face, goes from vibrato to bend smooth as silk.

You know something though? We see a lot of prodigies but Toby is one of the few that I see who actually FEEL the music, he lives and breathes every note. Many prodigies seem to go through the motions, brilliant as they are, they just seem bored sometimes, like they've been pushed into it by their parents, if you know what I mean?

At 6:05, the other lad does something I've not seen before.
