Are you sure that you´ve uploaded your picture as an avatar? (-> not personal photo, this is being displayed on your profile)
You can use any drawing program in order to create a signature: Adobe PhotoShop, Jasc Paint Shop Pro,... . There are some signature makers online, as well: http://www.mylivesignature.com http://www.signaturemaker.net more |

Go to "my controls> Edit Avatar Settings " and upload your pic there. To change your signature go to "My Controls>Edit signature" Hope this helps!
