Its called a "1 Spot", and you can find it on many online stores, including MusiciansFriend.com and Amazon. I have one and I use it to power four pedals, but it can power up to 8. So far I haven't had any trouble out of it. However, if you want top notch quality I suggest you go with something from Voodoo Labs, albeit at a much higher price.

It's not as quiet as batteries but less noisy than separate adapters. But it's too noisy to use other than at home. I'd never gig with one and I avoid using it at band practise. -------------------- My bands homepage

If you are up for trying software versions of hardware, there is a host of free software that will let you get the general idea of various tones available from various hardware. To help you get an idea of what you might like. I've got a forum with links to tons of free software and plugins for guitar players.

Wouldn't you overpower the adapter then? |

Adapter must be strong for all pedals you use. This is labeled in Amperes (A). Usually pedals spend from 50mA to 500mA, depending on the pedal, some big digital devices spend even more than that.
Calculate how much your pedals spend power in Amps, sum it up, and take something similar. You will see the "A" label on every adapter. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

PSA, you mean Boss? Any adapter with current filtering and 1A should do it I guess, I have one of these and they work no problem..

I've now got a 1,7A adapter with a 5-cable-daisy-chain works great! Great! That should do it for lots of new future pedals too. I use the 1000A Boss adapter that came with the pedal-board + daisy chain and it works great live and in studio. Its not that noisy at all. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

great, glad you solved the problem. 1.7A is indeed plenty for many pedals, it should be fine now!
