Pickups Problem

Hi cool.gif

I'm starting have problem with my Pickups or Pickups selector....not sure if that problem is something big or of thats just Minor problem

actualy usualy now when i'm starting play on Head pickups or if i'm play then on Neck position and then switching for head position again then i'm have like Silence for few second somethime the silence is break with sound and again continue...alll of this usualy don't take more like 30 second and if i'm keeaping play ont the head problem Pickups after that the problem don't coming back

it's probem with the pickups selector???? it's easy to fix that what ever that is???

Hi Rene,

Sounds like the selector may be the culprit. Try wiggling it back and forth while strings are ringing to see if you loose sound. If so, easy fix with an new selector switch. However, if you don't know how to solder and read a wiring diagram for your set-up, you will have to take it to the shop. Shouldn't be more than 50 bucks though.. smile.gif

i'm didn't have the problem now... actualy the rpoble usualy grown when i'm starting play and the guitar is cold tongue.gif or if i'm play long time on neck position and switching to head pos

I had the exact same problem, but reversed. Bridge was fine, but neck didn't work 100 %. Luckily I'm a good friend with the local luthier so he fixed it for free biggrin.gif

-edit- And he solved it by spraying contact spray.

thanks for the advice...i'm was today open the back of the guitar use a litle of coking oil on the selector area and looks like everything work ok biggrin.gif
