Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey guys, Here another take from this nice lesson. I focused on all the stuff you guys said. I focused on muting the trings with my right hand, bending, vibrato and dynamics. I also start the lesson you said for pratice Ben. Thanks for all the advice. And also thanks for gab who is a great mentor. Greetz Tim:)

Hi Tim! Congrats on your great job!

The new take shows improvements on each of the elements that we've been talking about. I'm impressed on how better your phrasing and expression techniques are on this new take.

There is still some room to adjust the fast licks (for example at 00:39) in which your hands lose a bit sync and everything sounds less clear. The best would be to isolate these parts and work on them, combined with some picking exercises.

You are working very hard and doing a very inspiring job at the mentoring program, keep going!!

Hi Tim, congrats on making some seriously good progress! It's a really noticeable difference from your previous take. You feel so much more IN CONTROL now. Great!

Your hand coordination is a lot stronger. That fast 3 note pull-off lick also sounds really cool.

Bending has even improved in the short time since we saw your first take. It still needs work but, of course, you can still improve every aspect.

Keep working on that picking lesson I gave you because it's definitely making a positive difference. Everything else the guys said that you may have implemented too is also doing the right job. So keep doing what you're doing.

Overall, a much stronger and controlled performance from you, Tim. I'm really impressed.

Hey Tim!

Excellent smile.gif You said you've did some tweaking and we do hear it in every aspect. This take has much better timing and it's almost perfect in case of noise removing work.

There is though still some work to be done with faster lick - not a full controll yet. I would focus on those at the moment, since the rest of the take is really descent now - 0:52 still to fix (open string interrupt while you make breaks) smile.gif

BTW - huge progress on your bends pitch! Congratulations!
