Good thing you went to the guitar tech mate. I hope everything will be OK as well. It's a bit far, but I think it will be worth it! smile.gif

guitar techs can be really good things! it all depends though on experience!

my guitar tech has owned his own shop for 30 years, and knows everything about everything...he stays current...goes to namm every year and always brings back stuff for his loyal customers to demo

ive been such a loyal customer that he started giving me discounts....

the pg58 mic i got recently was bought from him brandnew for $25 instead of $40!

not just that, but the last guitar set i took to him was a guitar i got of craigslist, he did a free fret level, he shimmed the locking nut...oh man the work he did on that thing!

hopefully your tech is just as good

I took my guitar to get set-up a week or two ago...

I took it in on a friday, and they said

"Well, our guy has alot of work to do, we will call you probably tomorrow, if not tomorrow definitely sunday."

I got a call 2 hours later!

so hopefully you will have a similar situation smile.gif

ohhh sad.gif unsure.gif

I'm sorry to hear that. I live about a 5 minute walk from my local shop.

But everything is going to be alright in the end! it sucks not having your guitars. I was fidgeting after not having mine for 2 hours.... I can't imagine going for a week

my heart goes out to you! laugh.gif
