Hi Bill,
Many of us use VLC Media Player & the reason is that you can slow down the backing track w/out changing the pitch (very handy ) Here is the link if you want to try it. Windows Media Player is nice but it can't slow down the tempo. VLC Media Player Did I mention it's FREE!!! Gary -------------------- |

Indeed, VLC does that, but it kind of alters the quality of the sounds...

Video lessons are available via online streaming 24/7 and backing tracks can be downloaded. If you are looking for a specific tempo backing tracks - my suggestion would be to use "slow down" software for audio that is able to preserve the pitch.
