Metal Rhythm: Right Hand Workout, Lesson By Marcus Siepen |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi man! This is not an easy rhythm lesson and I think that you are on the right path. Some parts are played perfect, some other need more work yet. I think that you should isolate the faster sections and practice them slower with metronome or the slower backings until you can make them sound tight. Keep on the hard work!

Nice take! I think you only need to slow this one a bit and practice it until you can get it very tight. Try concentrating on the drums and backing to get a tight take. I also notice that you are "loosing pace" during position shifts, try to isolate those parts when practicing.
