Super cool!! This is a wonderful solo and I really dig your take on it!! Nice.
Todd
Thank you, Todd! Whenever I've watched David Gilmour play it live he has improvised around the lines in the original, so I felt no shame in not playing it note for note. It's a nice enough exercise to look at the notation/tabs and sight read it.

Great playing and very lovely tone!! It went perfectly with my morning coffee.
Thank you, Monica
This is probably the style of soloing I enjoy the most. I don't intend to learn the solo note for note, but playing around with some of the lines Gilmour played is nice. He seems to do the same when playing his songs live. Some of the solos aren't note for note, but they keep the flavor and some of the lines, and that's the approach I've always preferred.
