Greetings my fellow travellers of The Way. Recently we've been looking at the importance of synchronizing those hands.. so here's your next exciting offering...
Task 36: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...la-turca-part1/ I chose this mainly because it's musical and should be enjoyable and interesting to learn and play because it has strong melody behind it. As you can see, there's plenty of left hand work here which I'm very confident you can do. Some of the trills may give you a challenge and I don't mind if you leave them out for the sake of the performance The timing is important here.. and seeing as we're working on synching up the hands, you'll probably want to make this your priority after memorising the parts. I noticed in the comments for the lesson, somebody mentioned an error in the tab but they also said where it was so hopefully you should be ok with that.. I hope you enjoy this one.. I look forward to hearing your takes ! Deadline is next Friday 12th October |

Here is a first take @ 80bpm. Tried 90 bpm but it was way too sloppy

Here is a first take @ 80bpm. Tried 90 bpm but it was way too sloppy http://soundcloud.com/mad-gmc/bt36-80bpm This sounds really good. Although there's no backing I can tell the timing is really tight. I think you can manage a 90bpm !! |

Sensei, you got me with this one.. I'll give it another shot today. Though to record that 80bpm was very time consuming - don't expect it to be that clean

This has been a fun piece to play although like BTrain said you do get sick of it. As I said I was learning Emir's version of this piece and I prefer it also so that's why mine sounds a little different. I find this is easier to play fast than slow. Getting the notes even. I struggled recording this as I'd always play the wrong part some where or forget where I was. One thing that helped me was to always play till the end even if I made mistakes. I remember a classical guitar teacher always had me do this because if you if you make a mistake while playing to an audience you can't afford to stop, you have to cover it up. It's great to have you Mad and BTrain. You take's are great. http://soundcloud.com/zoomify/alla-turca-1 |

Mr Malmsteen in the house Like BTrain, watch out for going in front of the beat here and there.. You did really well considering it was at full speed. I apologise if this Task has kind of interfered with learning Emir's version. I'd like to hear that when you're done.. maybe share it with us or maybe it will be a REC ? Well done to everybody this week.. you've all uploaded takes and you all officially hate Mozart's Turkish March !! |
