I had Takamines top model a while back (too expensive.... laugh.gif),
and that had the cool tube preamp in it smile.gif

It really is awesome, no doubt smile.gif

I had to sell it though, to afford my first Nik Huber guitar biggrin.gif

But if I ever sell my Guild acoustic, I'm gonna buy another Takamine with that preamp. No doubt smile.gif

Well...
It wasn't a huge difference per say, but it did enough to make it sound clearer and fuller in a way smile.gif
It added more harmonics and a better high and low end, at least to my ears..
It's not like it's a world of difference, but just enough to make you dig it biggrin.gif
