Hello GMC!

I've always loved the sound of brian may, but i've never been able to gain the same sound.
I don't if it is his playing style or what it is? smile.gif especially the licks in "We are the champions", "Killer Queen" and "We wil rock you"

I've got an Vox Valvetronix XL AD15VT2 amp, and i think ive heard somewhere he's playing on Vox amp?

Any of you crazy guitarist here on GMC who might know how the get that sound?! biggrin.gif

Hardest part's probably replicating the guitar's tone without one of those Red Special replicas. And personally, I'd have a hard time playing with a sixpence.

Well yes and no smile.gif Hardest part will be replicating Brian Mays fingers and expression smile.gif But one can get pretty close to his sound with the same equipment smile.gif

Hehe, I was just about to say the same, the hardest part FOR SURE is to copy his fingers smile.gif This guy is among the very best players I know, he plays a single note and you just hear it is him, I love such players.
