Brian May Sound, brian may sound

I don't if it is his playing style or what it is? especially the licks in "We are the champions", "Killer Queen" and "We wil rock you" I've got an Vox Valvetronix XL AD15VT2 amp, and i think ive heard somewhere he's playing on Vox amp?
