Hi guys smile.gif Got a new song in progress and were hoping to get some comments/pointers smile.gif

It's just some sections i thought sounded good together and it's all very roughly mixed.
I've added a "guitar vocal-line" on the first verse and chorus.. just some basic notes on how i want the vocals to sound like.

I'm also a bit in doubt about the very first part.. i think it sounds cool, but it might be a bit to similar to Strapping Young Lad's Almost Again. Different notes and timesigs though, but still.. there's something similar about it smile.gif

Great intro, Trond! Also like part from 1.09 wink.gif But.. do you always use same distortion effect for riffs, or is that EMG sound`s like that? biggrin.gif I mean not bad at all, but maybe you can try something different? smile.gif

Great as always Trond:) The vocal-solo sound is very similar to guitar sound of band called TYR.

Hehe. You're right about the beginning sounding like Almost Again. That's a good thing though. The whole thing flows nicely from start to finish. I especially like the last part of the "chorus" type section.

How could I miss this one?!

A great song, it does flow very nicely! I especially like the vocal lines... if a vocalist could sing that over the track, it would be a real kick-ass song. wink.gif
