Well I wouldn't say it's a 'waste' to buy Tools!!!! tongue.gif
Seriously though, I've just had a look at e-bay and reckon you could get all the Tools you need for less than £85.
100W Soldering Iron £6.99 and upward,
Screwdriver set £10.95 or so,
Gas Soldering Iron £10 and up,
a decent Wood Chisels set about £20,
Wire cutters and Pliers £5 and up,
Steel Rule £3.99,
Craft Knife £5,
Allen Keys £5,
Cheap battery Drill £20 and
Drill bits will cost you Pence!!

Then, the Guitar parts will cost as much as you want to spend!!!
If you want any more info or advice and help just ask!!

Thanks Steve!! I hope it does help a few people!
Next one is on doing a Set-up which might be followed by building something with a Floyd-Rose style bridge and how to set that up properly!
