I think you're likely looking for the Harmonic Minor scale.

If you're talking about the Harmonic Minor is just a regular minor scale with the seventh degree raised.
Example in A: A-B-C-D-E-F-G#-A -------------------- |

Do you know natural minor scale?
A natural minor (or A Aeolian mode) = A, B, C, D, E, F, G A harmonic minor will be when you play G# note instead of normal G (one fret up from G) A, B, C, D, E, F, G# is this more understandable ? edit: here is TAB for A harmonic minor. Can that help?
