Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hello GMC! smile.gif

I've learned another great piece of music, and now it's time to see how I can do it. Things I have noticed are that my playing should still be even more confident and relaxed, and that my vibrato needs more stability and strenght.

Original lesson: Phrygian soloing: Beginner by Muris Varajic
Equipment used: Ltd Mh-400 guitar, Cube 60 amplifier and a Canon pocket camera.

Here's the video.

Big, big thanks for watching and grading!

Very good take! I think your main problem is vibrato. You are doing it properly but some more work is needed, it sounds shaky and nervous. Try to practice it slowely. a 9 from me.

9 from me as well. Your vibrato is actually on a great way to become perfect. Just need to relax more and vibrate more from the wrist and less from the finger. You're controling it pretty good speed wise. Good work

Great job Kristian!
Like Ivan & Emir said, a little more work on your vibrato.

Nce job Kristian! In the beginning try to play with the same fingering as it is on the original lesson .It' easier to play vibratos with the third finger then with the second or forefinger.
However the arpeggio part was really good! smile.gif smile.gif
