Had a play with it tonight Daniel. I recorded two takes. One with neck pickup panned to the right and the other with bridge panned to the left. Still sounds muddy to me. I just can't seem to find a rhythm tone I like with a modeler.. unsure.gif laugh.gif

Chris opened this one with the bar set pretty high, as he usually does.. tongue.gif Nice job man!

It won't let me upload, says max file size is 2mb. I'll try again later after I get this sorted out.

Here's my take...I still have some intonation problems, and there's one lick where that is noticible...If I have time I'll fix it. smile.gif

And here we are again! I'm reminded of why I didn't listen to actual metal in the 70's, 80's, 90's or ... ever.

Oh, it was just suppose to be the guitar riff? if You want I can take the solo out of it since it still doesn't appeal to me that much.
Answering your question, I recorded 3 guitars, guitar for rhythm, guitar for lead, guitar for harmonization, each one with 5 takes to arrange sound ( rhythm ), two for lead, and just 1 centered take for harmonization.

Yeah, take the solo out if you want, the idea was to be only rhythm,

thank you

Last gasp for me ... I am going by Stockholm time for the deadline at 11:59pm. Still laying down the second guitar track. So I hope to have it done in an hour or two.

Ok, here's my riffs. Recorded bass too. There's two guitars, I panned the first one a bit to the left and the second one a bit to the right in my mix.

Alright I have finished! Wow, I thought that this would not be difficult, but it really kicked my butt! huh.gif I found that I really need to work on my riffs!!! I don't think I've tried to riff at that tempo since the 80's dry.gif Anyway I panned one hard right and one hard left... same track though, hope that's ok. Great takes everyone, I've listened to you all for inspiration. Chris you did set that bar way up there!!!

cool.gif
