Hey people.
My name is Marko and I'm from Serbia. My dad plays guitar so my whole life I'm surounded with it. I play it for year or two, I just bought myself a new guitar and wanted to start playing more intense. I listen rock, heavy/thrash/power metal, but prefer to play hard rock and heavy metal. Regards! smile.gif

Thanks everyone smile.gif
Well im more into that transition from hard rock into heavy metal, though im not quite sure whats exactly the genre I will play. I hope that this site will help me with that too.
Last few days I had some private problems and school obligations so I havent spent much time here, but I'm looking to spend more time here.
1 question: What you suggest me to start with? I know some chords, power chords, bare basics, but everything I learned alone. Maybe some theory lessons and practises for fingers and picking before I start learning about rock riffs etc?

Learn anything that interests you, man smile.gif
If you want to learn some riffs, the best thing you should do is learn them! If youre having problems with them, add some finger excersises into your practicing. You never need more skills than you need to play what you want to be able to play smile.gif
Theory helps you understand the music you play, and its always good to have some under your belt, but work on it when you find it necessary or/and interesting. ^^

and welcome man biggrin.gif
