I've Found Some Friends!

Today I put an wanted ad on the British Steelies forum for a volume pedal, as I don't think my Moog Expression pedal is a good chassis size for pedal steel. An Irish guy responded to me and we had a phone call where he mentions a few guys get together once a month to play and learn from each other in a town 30 mins from me! Last time was oktober through because of the corona. I hope next month we play again 😎 There are a lot of jam session Here every week in different pubs every week. Playing mandolin and now pedal steel, the communities are very different and everyone is eager to help. The Steel Guitar forum for example has most of the industry pros and legends on it and accessible to ask questions to. So many gear/guitar sites and even facebook groups can quickly get toxic and are just not worth the effort. That's one of the great things about GMC is that it's actually a positive community which is very hard to find. I'm glad you found some cool folks to jam with!
