I've never used Kemper's capture so I can't compare, but this sounds killer.

That's neat but I'm sticking with TH-U
I would like one for its quasi-industrial look, would look sweet on a desk Here's the factory site with the Cortex featured. https://neuraldsp.com/products/quad-cortex https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmFW5vtVQEc...enRowlandsMusic This post has been edited by Phil66: Nov 16 2020, 09:03 PM -------------------- SEE MY GMC CERTIFICATE “Success is not obtained overnight. Wasn't Mooer the first company to introduce the tone capture feature? I don't know. Does it work like this one? These are great sounding boxes for sure. It's a solid competitor for kemper and axe effects. That's the market segment that they are targeting. It's the hardware version of the neural dsp stuff. The plugins sound great as well. This tone capture is a very handy feature for sure. I think we are going to start seeing more tablets on pedal boards running these plugins. Now that Apple is going to eliminate the difference between desktop and mobile apps, the same neural plugin that runs on a macbook pro will run on an ipad. That way it will have the same interface, same features, etc. Devices like the TONESHIFTER work as an interface and a pedal boarrd at the same time. So take an ipad and a toneshifter pro box, and bam. You can use any plugin you like, and have channel/preset switching as a bonus. It's a very flexible platform as well since you can use any plugin. Your not just stuck with a particular vendor. I really think it's the future. Especially as young people, who have grown up with ipads, start to build their rigs. That's very interesting Todd! This means that my Iphone will be able to open any software and plug in?? -------------------- My lessons

Skip to 14:13 of this video Nice! From what I can see in that video it seems that it copies the EQ and it works great to make a guitar sound like another guitar. I don't know if it's exactly the same thing but sounds good! Yes Your iphone will be able to open any app built for the "unified architecture" known as Apple Silicon. There will be only one app store. The same apps will run on mobile and desktop including LOGIC presumably. That's what apple is heading toward. We are now in the transition phase. Awesome! -------------------- My lessons
