Hey guys! We had some fun the other day discussing about how high or low we should use our guitar.. and the Scarf Guitar joke appeared... laugh.gif
I find more difficult to use the guitar low but the lower I use it I think that the best it looks.. however at the same time, the lower I used, the most difficult it to play tricky licks...

This is how I'm using it in the last shows...

How do you use it? Are you a Scarf Guitar user?

I'm about midway. I like to have it just below the waist.

I wear my guitar at exactly your height, Gabriel. And for tricky licks, you can always use the old Petrucci-leg-up-trick wink.gif

that's pretty low! but it does look cool...I've had phases where I had my guitar up there but it just doesn't feel good yet I struggle with hard parts with the guitar low...I think the guitar-lift-up trick by Slash is pretty cool

I'm sort of mid length... low enough to be comfortable but not too low that I can't play it properly.

Have any of you guys seen footage of people who used to play Flying V's in the '60's ? They used to wear them so high that they put their picking hand between the 'V' to play it laugh.gif

It would look cooler to keep it down, but it's even cooler to keep it normal and being able to play everything properly.

yeah.. I was thinking in bringing an anvil or something to the gigs to put my leg while I'm playing the difficult solos...

I could never do that Slash trick and feel comfortable to play.. I have to practice it...

That's great! I also incline myself a bit to make it easier to play.. but if it's possible I do this...
