I've decided to try and learn one cover a month. I'm a slow learner so here is what I have so far on my cover for April. It is Jach Thammarat's "On the way". Goal is to have a complete cover posted by the end of the month.........we shall see....\m/\m/

Sounds good. Did you learn that by ear or are there TABS for it?

Why aren't you recording into a DAW?

You can get the tabs for it at bluesjamtracks. I'll record it into a DAW when I get the whole thing down. Just tracking my progress on it so I can watch it and see what needs fixed......Like my out of tune vibrato for one..... tongue.gif laugh.gif

Thanks Guys. I think I'll have the rest done in a few weeks. I'll make a nice recording and video for it. This is a really fun tune to learn. Jack has great phrasing. smile.gif

Wow man this is great cover! Few out of tune notes but overall very impressive! Its a complicated song to learn (and lots of notes in there) - you are doing great so far! Can't wait for the whole cover! smile.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato
