Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forum.

I'm using Kontakt 3 sampler, and it's great when it comes to orchestral stuff and such, but when it comes to bass, I think some of the lower notes on low B string are missing. Also the choice of synth leads is pretty limited. I was wondering if you guys know a better alternative, as I need those low notes smile.gif

I haven't used it myself , but Trilogy bass VST should be best solution for bass work. Everyone recommends it, though its not cheap.

You can also tryout Virtual Bassist from Steinberg, pretty decent bass VSTi.

Hypersonic 2 is a great and not big software synth. There are many sounds you can chose from. The plugin is like semi-pro but it gave me some great results when I mixed it

There are also a number of good, both free and commercial, acoustic and electric bass samples packages for Kontakt 2 and 3. As you have Kontakt you may want to check these out before investing in a new vsti.
