In my opinion, why some albums stick to an individual's head mainly depends on the frame of mind in which they are heard.
While a teenager can get addicted to "can I play with madness" while riding his bike and really feeling it, it cant be compared with another person in a totally different mindset listening to it. Though it will be quite appreciated, it just wont ignite the same passion for the song/album. Also, Digital era has kindda messed up a lot of things, I remember the times of audio cassettes and me flicking through tiny booklets of maiden and megadeth albums. I knew the names of songs by heart. These days is a different story. Ipod's are full of tracks, i may know the tune really well, but try asking me the name of the song. I liked Guns n Roses - Appetite for destruction more than any of their records after that album. Same goes for Pearl Jam's Ten. But I liked Megadeth's Youthanasia over Countdown to extinction. -------------------- "If the need is deep, you WILL find a way , if it isn't, you'll find some excuse"
