I'm french and I live in Paris. I'm almost 40 and I started guitar 15 years ago ... but if I quickly knew how to do basic things (punk rock, grunge etc ..); I never really tried to progress, and after a long break of 6 years, I got back to it more seriously and now it's been 2 years that I play each days with a real thirst for progress. So I'm here to challenge myself and improve. I mainly listen rock music (from the Rolling Stones to Devildriver) but I am very open with what I like to play with my guitar. A little blues, a funk tune and even a jazz (if only I had the capacity) are things that I really like once the instrument is in my hands. I have in fact almost not played on a single string and besides the only solo that I have (a little) worked on is that of this song (I don't think you saw it) : You can see (1m38) that this is not where I am most comfortable. So I'm going to start right away with the lesson on picking. PS : My Telecaster is orange, you were right, precisely "candy tangerine". Sorry for this almost month of absence, but we have just experienced a new lockdown here in France and I spent it in the countryside. So I had my guitars but nothing to record myself properly. I am now back at home in Paris, so here's a video including two consecutive takes that I made (still about picking), especially trying to pay attention to the accentuations on the triplets. As you will see, the second take is a bit more timed .. but have more imperfections than the first. I did not spend 2 hours there, but I did not manage to make a "perfect".
