I know there are some problems, such as the transition to the metal section as well as I think some parts in the metal section should be using the hi hat instead of the china crash to not block anything else out.
Constructive Criticism encouraged! Im going to add keys to it very soon , and Ill repost! [attachment=16273:Song.mp3] Thanks! -------------------- My Website

Yeah sounded good T. In the beginning, it reminds me a little of old school dokken, then as you get into it, I get a feel for a mudvayne type of sound. I agree with you on the cymbals but all in all, sounds good! Thanks skenny! Good to know someone agrees with me on the cymbals as well! -------------------- My Website

Well, you can use the chinas too if you want.. Just lower them in the mix and eq them a bit and they should be fine Will do. New to Toontrack and REAPER I still have to figure some things out. -------------------- My Website

Cool, post an updated version later on when you've played around some more What did you use to record guitar? VOX Amplug Metal. Its pretty cool, heres a vid of Gustavo Guerra rippin' on one! You can't get any clean tones from it, but it does sound pretty good for metal. No delay either. I would use my Marshall Half Stack but it sounds really weird if I try and plug it into my comp right now, maybe some day ill mic it. -------------------- My Website

Me neither Paal! That's a neat little deal for sure! Yeah, 39$ for a great recording solution is a steal if you ask me |

Yeah, 39$ for a great recording solution is a steal if you ask me Yea, Id say, even though down here they are 70$ (canadian) Regardless, they do sound pretty good, and will do someone like me justice for now. -------------------- My Website

Very good!
The fills on the drums are a bit repetitive to my ear, and although guitar playing is very good, I think more defined and focused tone can be achieved, specially around the low end which sounds a bit fluffy and loose. Try focusing the guitars more, and lower down the gain a tiny bit. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

Here is the updated version, some piano was added (choir and a few guitar sounds).
I also added a piano ending, which comes in HORRIBLY (will need to fix next version) And also thanks Ivan for your comments, I will also update those in the next version! Hopefully after several revisions with your help I can get this sounding more professional [attachment=16278:Song1_Rough.mp3] -------------------- My Website

Wow , you own!!!! You've made quite a cool BT, where did you get the drum ideas, all programmed yourself? Very cool song! The drums were all done with Toontrack's EZ drummer. I was going to use my digital drums but EZDrummer is just so easy and sounds awesome. Very good stuff - lots of great licks and riffs in here! Yes that's interesting + on their homepage they say "100% analog circuit faithfully simulates the response of the original amps. " I assumed it was digital - cool stuff! Thanks Kris! I was even thinking of doing an SI lesson on it and yes, the amplug surprisingly, considering their cheap price sound pretty damn good! -------------------- My Website
