if i play like
E||--------- B||-------- G||-------- D||--------- A||---------- E||--5h-7h-9 or just pick them regularly should i use fingers 1 2 4 or 1 3 4? -------------------- |

Generally, I play them with 1, 3, 4.
If you look at it from the perspective to 'stay in position' than 1,3,4 makes more sense as your hand is remaining but your pinky is only going one fret further. -------------------- "Don't practice until you get it right.
