Most Modeling amps have a line in so you can plug your Mp3 player or Cd-player into the amp and hear it/jam along...

Not sure if that's what you want though...

You should check in your local stores/sites, prices vary a lot. I would recommend getting Denon or Marantz devices, they are top notch, I'm sure you can find something entry level within 500USD.
