I just noticed that it has a cpr extension on it and this has not happened before when I have exported it ( into a wav )
does any know what I did wrong this time?

The cpr files are the Cubase project files.

Make sure that the right and left locators are set, and you should just be able to export after selecting .wav (or .wma as you have used in recent posts).

It's what dark dude says. I think what you did is click on "Save as" and that way you save the project not the wav file with the music. You need to click export.

I first tried to export before I set the locators , a tab reminded me so I did ,it said that it was saved as a wav and I resaved it and had to override the original wav- did this, then tried to dowload this and this is where it still has the cpr attached to it, I followed all the prompts you mentioned
half my files pull up (automatically ) with cubase while some pull with windows media,is there some setting that I might have changed
