It was definatley an Alice Cooper album. I think it was probably 'Zipper catches skin'

It was either that or 'Welcome to my nightmare' smile.gif

It was a "Cassette Tape" (Anyone remember those?) for me. This is still a classic to this very day. I ended up learning most of the songs and playing cover versions of them in various bands and bars smile.gif It's one of the albums that still holds up and doesn't sound way dated the way that some albums do.

Not exactly sure I remember which was first but it was most likely one of these 4. I am leaning towards the Commodores album. They were all bought pretty close together.

First album I owned, and didn't even have a record player at the time.

First album I bought myself and I still love it, everyone a classic full of energy except Submission that is a little more subtle. I can't get the whole album up because they all have the list thing that prevents this from working.

I can't remember which I bought but probably a casette of guns, megadeth or metallica.

Cool. I used to listen to music before I was 12, but for any reason, the albums from 91 to 94 had a big impact on me.

I saved my pocket money for a month to buy the Pistols album and had to hide it from my dad. My mom was OK with it though cool.gif

Probably about that same age I guess. Not long after that I discovered Zeppelin and for a while after that theirs were the only albums I bought.

Do you remember which was the first Zep song you've heard?

Love at first heard. biggrin.gif

I think that the first song that I've heard from them or remember hearing and identifying is "Stairway to heaven".

Yeah, I think that is probably one of the most mentioned songs when people are asked which was the first Zeppelin song they heard and it was probably one of the ones I had first heard by them as well and loved.
Funny thing is, that song is now probably my least favorite Zeppelin song. biggrin.gif Pretty sure I heard Black Dog first though.
