We all use different modes when we are in different moods. First check out Cosmin's new lesson, "Mixolydian Phrasing: 4 Variations", and then post a reply to today's topic.
What mode do you prefer to use most often? Does your mood affect you mode? |

Lydian is quite "hopeful", if that makes any sense

I think it's maybe because the intervals seem to soar further than Ionian or Mixolydian.. they seem to have a quality of almost 'reaching out' further into the... I dunno... positive stuff like blue skies, chirping birds & bunny rabbits etc !
