No they don't, a sound interface is extra but I have one (Scarlett 18i8), they do have onboard sound though.

English lesson:

"From what I can see, these doesn't include sound interface, does them?"should be, "From what I can see, these don't include sound interface, do they?" Basically it's "does it" and "do they". The difference between "they" and "them" is tricky for me to explain but an example could be, "They are good guitar strings, I will use them", "They were going to a concert and I decided to go with them". https://writingexplained.org/they-vs-them-difference

Cheers

I'll keep you on your toes buddy wink.gif

This evening I had some inspiration while practising my dominant 7 chords and scale shapes etc, I was moderately pleased with it so I decided to record it for you, do you think I could do the same again??????????? Oh well these things happen when the rec button isn't on. Maybe tomorrow.

Check out an unplanned event https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...c=60428&hl=

Cheers buddy

I am staying positive buddy wink.gif I explained about being much less stressed about having to get work to you, prove myself, explain myself, it will come to me when it is ready, once I've put enough time in it will happen wink.gif

I don't know if it was the REC button or just stopping to set up the recording that made the creativity block happen, but it happened and that's it.

The guitar is lovely, Martin are now making it with their name on but in their X range at £675, mine retails new at £375, I gave my mate £20 for collecting the resonator and bringing that to me, so taking everything into account, I got it for around £175 with full setup, new strings, gig bag, and sound-hole cover. I'll be practising my blues on it wink.gif

Cheers

Phil

Thanks Gab,

My philosophy has completely changed, I'm more relaxed and taking my time rather than rushing. I know I'm never going to be really good but I enjoy it as a hobby, it's my stress buster.

Tomorrow we're going to the airport hotel and on Saturday we're flying out to HERE for one week.

I've had a lot of disruption lately with working many hours, my new computer took up time even though I minimised the disruption, programs still need setting up and you can never remember how you fine tuned them last time can you? rolleyes.gif

On my return everything should be back to normal.

Cheers buddy

Speak soon.

Peace

That sounds ominous laugh.gif

Cala d'Or where we are is on the Spanish island of Mallorca (Majorca) and is the largest of the Balearic Islands the others being Menorca, Formentera and of course, Ibiza.

If you go to Mallorca get a nice hotel near the beach or marina in the island's capital, Palma hire a car and travel the island or do excursions. Make sure you do the Soller Train

Ibiza is a great island and still retains a hippy vibe everywhere, even if the kaftans aren't worn the people are great, lots of hippies settled on the island in the 60s and still live there now. Ibiza Town is amazing both the old and new. We've been to the little town of Es Cana about eight times but not for a few years now so don't know how it's changed.

Cheers

They are the best advisors for you, they know you on a personal level. We love Es Cana as many do but we were talking to a couple once about our travels and theirs, they couldn't remember the name of the town they were telling us about but they hated it, in the end it was Es Cana laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif We didn't say anything about us living it and knowing many people who have been many times, then they were taking about an "awesome" place that they fully recommended, turns out it was somewhere we had been and wouldn't go back. This is why it's hard to recommend holiday destinations.

Is this something for me to be concerned about? As I said, it kinda seems ominous, like when a teacher at school says, "I'll speak to you tomorrow" wink.gif

hahaha nothing serious... here we say, "nos hablamos" as a way to say "see you" but the the literal translation is "Let's talk later".

Hello Gab,

Been back a couple of days, unfortunately, or maybe not, I've been working on getting Helix Native to work on my new rig. I chose Native because I know the UI of Helix but I really want to try Overloud TH-U but thought it would be good to experiment with latency settings on something I knew.

We're practically finished now, I have also learned a lot about utilizing the Scarlett Control software to prevent getting the dry signal to come through to the speakers at the same time as the Native signal, and have been able to record Native on one track and LT on another at the same time, not that I need to but it was a lesson to learn.

This is where I'm at https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=771850 so I will be back to playing imminently.

I've learnt so much about the software I'm using over the past few days it can only be good even though there hasn't been much guitar.

Speak soon buddy.

Phil

All sorted buddy, the new PC is a complete demon and I can't believe how much I've learnt about the software I was already using and not getting the most of.

Back on it all now. Still struggling with the dom7 chords and fills, I just think I need more licks in my box of tricks, so I'll be doing the dominant 7 chords and improv at the end of my session for 10-15 minutes and concentrate on my rec lesson and Todds things.

Does that sound okay to you?

Cheers

Phil
