The body is two pieces of masonite (steam-cooked and pressure-molded wood fiber). Neck is probably maple but the fingerboard is Brasilian Rosewood. The pickups are 'lipstick' single coils. *It was marketed with a case that had an amp built into it. I have that too. Thanks for sharing the videos and info, great playing again and that first video was very interesting too. Its love to find a quirky instrument like that. You should come over to Denmark Street in London. Plenty of gems there
