This seems to have been around a while but I've never seen it.
I totally get the first part about Hendrix and note lengths after working on and discussing THIS lesson with Gab. Great share! He's spot on imho. It's all about the notes that don't quite fit in a quantized grid. Putting things in the are almost outside the timing of a piece but that serve to give it the push and pull that our ears find interesting. Satch is a master of this, so was SRV.
