What are your favorite chords and why? What do you associate their sound with? |

You can look at it as a voicing of Dmajoradd9 I think and yes it sounds totally awesome

That's inverted D major,or Dadd9 with a open E1, also one of my favs Nines are usually much nicer than conventional major or minor .. So true nines make me think about the sea |

How in the hell do you fret that? All's good apart from the B string. Just bend your index and bar it so it goes over the low E and B strings. -------------------- |

Suspended 2 chords! I use them every time that the melody/progression allows it.
