Seeing the post called 'Indian fun time' -> https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=41686 made me think about how people could handle situations in reality. As Ben said, I am a very squeamish person myself - can't stand seeing cruelty happen in any form. I actually transform myself into a very hateful person towards the ones who can do such inhuman acts.
Now, reality is a different matter: for instance, there was a very nasty situation a few years ago, when I was alongside my old band, Evo, coming back from a gig at the seaside. Our sound engineer was opening the trunk to get some stuff out and in that very moment a bag full of cymbals slipped out and cut off his toe (he was wearing flip-flops as we were returning from the seaside)... Everybody was shocked and screaming. I don't know how I managed to tie the toe alongside another friend and tried to stop the bleeding until we got him to the hospital. After the whole thing was done, I realized I had no trouble in having to deal with such an ugly wound and a river of blood. Strange huh? |

I'm very good at handling such situations. Such scenarios don't really have an impact on me at first

I would help, no matter what. Hey if it's a human being or a hurt animal and I can do something about it, I don't care blood. I would help aliens too, as long as they aren't radioactive or something

mmm I've never had such an extreme situation so I don't know exactly how I could react. It's great how you Cosmin reacted in that situation.

Stuff like blood and wounds and such doesn't really bother me, since I used to help out at a veterinary office, and people would often bring in wounded animals and such. If I was ever in a situation with wounded people, I hope I would have the courage to step in and help where I could, since I am trained in CPR and First aid. Never really faced anything like that yet so far...

I grew up working with my parents in a glass art-shop, and later in a metal fabrication shop ~ I"ve seen some pretty grizzly injuries so I think I'm somewhat numb to blood and injuries. I had a 250 pound panel of tempered glass explode into my arm once ~ it was like getting shot by a shot gun - my left forearm had glass embedded in it" ~ that was interesting. Also saw someone mash his thumb to a pancake in a 40 ton press.
But I do hate seeing others fight or inhumane acts on animals / people. It makes me mad more than anything. -------------------- The more I practice, the more I wish I had time to practice!
