I recommend Takamine as well, I've tested many acoustic guitar in stores, and I liked the price/performance of Takamine the best. They are not "the best" of course, as preferences are different, so I suggest you spend some time testing out as much as you can. It's the only way to tell what's good for you and what's not.

I would also recommend Takamine! You should go to the store and try them out and see which one sounds best to you. You should also try out some high end (priced) acoustics to have a nice comparison when choosing.
