Thanks for clarifying man. Soldering can be pretty tricky, specially with the solder gun. Whatever you do DON'T BUY solder gun, only solder pencil iron.

Using this technique will be great, but if you need more solder, do not melt it on the solder iron. The pieces you are soldering should be enough heated to melt the solder.

Thanks, I will try pretinning the next time I solder. Might ease up on some of the soldering hassle that always occure

yeah, solder pencil is more than enough. I got mine for 12 € and works perfectly !!! yeah, I think it will be an interesting lesson, you can save lot of money just knowing few things and having good tools witch would cost less than 20 €
