Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Well played, with all the elements added, but I think your timing needs to be more tighter on this one. It sounded a bit shaky on the bends as well. All in all, very good, but needs to be more tighter in every sense.

Very RAWKING take
 Your palm muting is very good here. Getting articulate picking motion while muting takes practice and it's clear you've put some in. In our video chats, we tend to palm mute almost everything, I think it's rubbing off on you! Sounds very cool. Also, I can hear/feel the vibe. Which is very important, there is a groove here that comes from you digging what your playing and knowing the piece well enough to enjoy it. This is a great thing to see. Getting beyond being able to play a part and actually heading to performing/enjoying the part is important step. If the player doesn't put something of himself in to what's played it just sounds like a recital, not RAWK!The guys are right dead on where the tips are concerned. It could be a bit tighter and cleaner in spots and those things are the polish that is well worth the effort. Combine that with the groove beast that you put in to the playing and BINGO! everything said already, rocking take christian, check ben's advice for most of the points, but i want to talk about your palm muting technique.
when you play the power chords your tone sounds very nice, open, sparkly and powerful, but when you go to palm mute, even with a strong groove going on, the TONE is getting muddy. i know the palm mute is made to get that feel to the music, but, in order to give a bit of spark back, work on your right hand, it needs to touch less of the string in my opinion, there are two ways of achieving a brighter tone during palm mute: 1. Move your right hand away from the bridge and into the joint of the strings with the saddle itself 2. Good playing man! One of the things that I appreciated of your playing is your vibrato. The overall is just perfect however when you reach the middle of the lesson you have some very little timing issues. It's an 8 for me! Good job.
