Hi Laurent! Welcome to your thread for Gab's Army!
Here I'll share some info about you to have it as reference: Influences: BB king, joe pass, Slash, dave mustaine ,Mikael Åkerfeldt (opeth), eric johnson, bucket head, dimebag diamond darrell, Daniel Gildenlöw (pain of salvation), al pitrelli, and many jazz guitarist Theory Knowledge: scale construction, intervals, chords construction , i can analyse music metrics, ihave a lot to learn, as i have said i started to learn this in september You said that you have around 3 hours per day for practice so you'll be able to work on technique and improvisation stuff as well as learn licks based on your favorite players. During this first week I would suggest a routine based on the things I think you should work more on your own improvisations. I refer to dynamics, vibrato, alternate picking and phrasing. Technique work: (1:30 hour) Bending: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/String-Bending/ Dynamics: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/writing_a_solo_dynamics/ Alternate picking: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...ernate-workout/ Improvisation: (1:30) - Start working on the improvisation course: LINK - Choose a lesson from GMC archive based on a guitarist that you like. Learn the licks, practice them over the backing, create variations, combine them with your own improvisations, record yourself and share your recordings here. These lessons are my suggestions but you can replace any of them if you find another one that fits more which what you'd like to learn. Please share your thoughts! Hi Laurent, nice first take of this one. Once you could play the whole thing you will have to focus on feeling and dynamics of your playing. How? Listen to each phrase played by Muris and pay attention to his vibrato, you'll see that he adds wide vibrato even on bends, try to emulate it in your playing. Then do the same but with dynamics, listen to each phrase and put your focus on the different intensities used with his pick, work on very small parts and try to get a similar sound. At first it's good to emulate the instructor's playing, then, once you master these techniques, you can give your own spirit to your phrases.

Hi Laurent! Congrats on your great work! These two samples show that you are working hard and that the progress can be noted! The dynamics lesson is very close, you can play the whole thing at tempo and most of the licks clean and clear. There is room to polish, but what you could do on the next days of practice is to try to emulate even more the dynamics of the original take. Notice how Muris goes from accentuated parts to softer parts in a very smooth way. I can hear some dynamics work on your take but there is still more room for it. I think that you could share a REC take in a few days to have more feedback from other instructors as well.
About bending, your bends are sounding on pitch and consistent on the audio that you shared. You are also doing a very good job with this lesson. Ok, it's been a month of work since I shared the first routine so we are ready to start adding and switching things. Have you been working on other stuff, concepts? What about the improvisation tasks? any news about it? -------------------- My lessons

That's great! Those thread makes you train your composing / improvisation / creativity skills so we are covered! We can continue working on the most technical aspects here.
I'll give you one week more to finish the bending lesson and polish the other two ones. (have you worked on the alternate picking lesson?) Then, we will start with 3 new lessons, ok? -------------------- My lessons
