Gitarrero - Foo Fighters Style Lesson |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi guys,
next try. It's Gabriels Foo Fighters Style lesson ( https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-gu...s-style-lesson/ ). As usual, I used my favourite Oakland ZX 1200 guitar, a Behringer V-Tone GM108 15 watt amp, video recorded with my Nokia 6120 cellphone and audio recorded with the EnergyXT 2.5 software. All mixed together with Movie Maker. Hope you enjoy it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuN0B17Qkv0 This post has been edited by skennington: Jan 18 2010, 10:26 PM -------------------- |

Very good take. Although your timing is good and all the notes came clear, you lack some fluidness here. This is mainly because your picking hand is a bit stiff.

nice take! all notes in place. You have one strange picking technique, but don't worry if you feel comfortable that's all that matters. I agree with Ivan. Check out what you did on 0:23, you let your rist move a little more, I think you should try to do that more.

I can add one thing to the previous comments.
My suggestion is to play with more attention the notes on low E and A strings - as example around 0:25 or 0:33. -------------------- ::: Main Gear ::: Guitars: Washburn N4 Vintage | Washburn N2 | Washburn WI67Pro | Washburn WG-587 | Washburn EA20B Amps: Laney GH50L (head) | Laney GS410 & GS212IE (cabinets) | Rocktron PROGAP Ultra (rack preamp) | Rocktron Velocity 150 (power amp) | Marshall VS230 (combo) FXs: Rocktron Intellifex + custom pedalboard (check my video demo) Other: Shredneck | Intellitouch PT10 tuner Picks: Esseti Picks Software & Recording Gear: Cubase 4 | Overloud TH1 | Mackie Onyx 400F | EZdrummer | Korg Pandora PX4D ------------------------------------------------------- myspace.com/jerryarcidiacono Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |
